Xtreme Pulse All-Stars offers teams for athletes of all ages and abilities. We follow the USASF age and level grid to place our athletes on teams that they will be most successful on. We provide equal opportunity for all athletes to participate in tryouts. We encourage those who truly want to work hard and be part of a premier cheer program to come to tryouts. Although basic cheerleading and tumbling skills are preferred, the willingness to learn new skills from our high caliber coaches is a must. If you are willing to work hard, we would love to teach you. Check out our Tryout Information page for information on our annual tryouts.
Competitive cheerleading is a year-round sport. Summer practices, although not mandatory for all teams, will determine placement on teams for the competitive season. Mandatory weekday practices for all teams begin following choreography in August and go through the end of our competitive season.
Xtreme Pulse competitive teams have 2-3 practices a week through out the season. Each practice is 2-4 hours long. Practice times will be determined based on the number of teams, team level, and available gym space/time.
Competition season begins in December/January and continues through April/May. As cheerleading is a team sport, it is essential that all athletes are at practice in order for the team to progress safely. Throughout the year, there will be times when the gym is closed. Our schedule will be set prior to tryouts and given to all of those who join the team. Please schedule all vacations during these times.
